Client Overview

Adirondack Campground Association is a group of private Upstate NY campgrounds with a basic website that offered a bit of information about the Adirondack Park along with links to dozens of participating campground members. These members offer a range of different camping experiences, from luxury RV parks to wilderness tent camping under the stars.

Work on the site began with an intensive focus on basic optimization strategies. All meta data was updated, along with new text and titles throughout. Navigation was updated and standardized.


Results of Search Engine Optimization Plan

  • Search Engine Placements: Prior to our SEO plan, there was only a total of 50 results where there are currently 83. Increased number of top-10 positions from 18 to 39 currently. The site currently enjoys several #1 placements in the most competitive search engines for the keywords chosen.
  • Increased visibility for a number of important industry phrases, such as 'upstate new york campgounds', 'rv parks in new york', and 'new york state campsites'.
  • Visitor statistics showed dramatic increases: page views increased an amazing 440% from December '08 to the end of March '09, and overall visits increased 400%. Bounce Rate decreased from 33% in October '08 to 22.87% at the end of March.
