Lisa Bishop has been with Mannix Marketing since 1999, pioneering through the years in the ever changing field of SEO. Lisa serves our clients with expertise in Local SEO, website analytics, and social media marketing. She composes a unique battle plan for each client’s desired marketing goals and has a vested interest in showing our clients how a campaign succeeds. Lisa has completed training courses in Google Analytics and is working diligently towards her Google Analytics Certification.Located in beautiful Williamsburg, VA, Lisa assists a myriad of local businesses promote themselves online and has skills in strategizing for both local and national marketing.Lisa received a BS in Psychology at The King's College in Westchester County, NY.

Fun Facts About Lisa

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
I like riding my bicycle around Williamsburg. I’ve got a pink Cruiser with a sweet woven basket strapped to the front from Nantucket Basket Company. Often you’ll see me on Saturday mornings riding to the Farmer’s Market in Merchant’s Square and filling my basket with fresh pastries and home grown vegetables.

Do you like to plan things out in detail or be spontaneous?
I am a planner through and through. Even my spontaneous events are planned out! Being a single mother, if I didn’t have everything planned, it seemed like the whole house would fall apart and that was not an option.

What community events or causes do you partake in?
I am very involved in the cause of bringing awareness to the topic of Sexual Abuse. Statistically, 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused by the time they are 18. I am currently planning a conference on the subject for the city of Williamsburg and hope to bring this conference to as many cities as I can.

Do you like to travel? Where?
I love to travel. It all started when I participated in a Study Abroad program during college. I went to Oxford, England for a semester. During that time hopped on the Euro rail and traveled all over Europe. Later, I tried to take my daughter out of the country once a year to introduce her to other cultures. Of all the places I’ve been thus far, I particularly loved Barcelona, Bath, Venice and Zurich.

What is one of your favorite quotes?
I grew up in a musical family and my daughter is a singer. When she was sixteen, she decided to get a tattoo that says, “When words fail, music speaks.” After I got over the shock that my daughter has ink, I embraced that quote wholeheartedly. During every challenge we’ve faced in life, my daughter has never stopped singing … even when she didn’t have the words to speak.
