Mannix Builds Custom Website for Custom Home Builder
Because CGM’s website was built in 2009, it did not work well on mobile devices, and the design was outdated and lacked visual impact. Page speed was also an issue.
Mannix Marketing immediately recognized the need for an online portfolio of CGM’s work – an important selling tool in the highly competitive industry of home builders. New photos were taken to highlight CGM’s most recent projects, and a page dedicated to client reviews was added to establish trust and drive sales, while at the same time strengthening the search-engine friendly content on the site.
Additional construction services that were missing from the old website were also added, as was a new section showcasing the custom home communities that CGM is helping to develop in Albany, Troy and Halfmoon NY.
New Website Increases Traffic & Time Spent on Site
CGM’s new website is much more visual than the previous version, and since it was designed to deliver an optimized user experience on all devices and screen sizes, it is now mobile-friendly. Page speed has also improved signifiantly, and CGM Construction now appears on the first page of Google for “commercial contractors albany ny”. As a result, traffic to the website has increased by 50% and visitors are now spending an average of 40% more time on site.
