The Heritage of Lake George

The Heritage of Lake George is a charming resort with motel rooms, cottages, and house rentals nestled in the heart of Lake George village. They were looking for a modern lodging website design to convey the comfort and elegance of their newly renovated accommodations, convenient amenities, and peaceful atmosphere; streamline the display of information; deliver a mobile-friendly experience; and, ultimately, to help encourage more bookings!

Website Redesign Reveals the Charming Appeal of Lake George Motel

The website uses a calm and elegant color scheme to convey the charming appeal of The Heritage of Lake George. As visitors scroll down the page they’re encouraged to explore the resort’s accommodations and amenities, and discover things to do nearby.

Guest reviews play an important role in helping travelers find the best accommodations for their needs, so we built a section that pulls TripAdvisor reviews directly into the home page. This “social proof” helps The Heritage build trust with travelers by letting former guests explain why The Heritage is the place to stay when visiting Lake George!

A “Quick Info” area on the home page provides travelers with immediate answers to commonly asked questions about the resort, such as check-in and check-out times, directions, and hotel policies.

Strategically placed calls-to-action reinforce the booking process by encouraging travelers to view rates and book one of The Heritage’s motel rooms, cottages, or house rentals online.

The website also uses mobile-friendly responsive design to ensure a consistent, user-friendly experience across devices as travelers jump from desktop to tablet to smartphone when planning their vacation.
