Alex joined the Mannix Marketing team in August of 2023 as a Digital Marketing & SEO Strategist. Alex graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in Marketing and minor in Digital Studies. Their previous experience includes work within search engine optimization, content writing, and data analytics/communication. They live in Grand Rapids, MI with their fiancé and cat. In their spare time, Alex can be found at local craft markets, playing DND, or trying out a new coffee shop.
What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
I love all things fiber arts! I can usually be found crocheting or quilting; I also love to work in coffee shops around my city. In the summer, I love kayaking, swimming in Lake Michigan, or walking a nature trail.
What is your favorite book (or movie) of all time?
My favorite book (and movie) is easily Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. It’s so unique and fun – I can’t wait for the animated series to come out!
Do you like to travel? Where?
Travel is a huge priority in my life! I love visiting my parents in New Orleans or taking a trip over to Chicago. I travelled to Iceland with my family last year – it was beautiful!
If you could have one superpower, what would it be? Why?
Definitely teleportation – imagine all the time (and gas money) you’d save!
