Customer service is our number one priority and we stand behind every website we build. To this end, we’ve developed a time-tested process for the creation and development of your website as well as the ongoing maintenance of your site. This includes a user-friendly one-on-one WordPress training program taught by an experienced digital marketing strategist.
Pre-Launch: What to Expect Before Your Site Goes Live
Proposal Review: The quote for website development includes your website navigation and plan. This drives the number of pages and the different types of customized templates our programmers will need to develop for your site. If you need to remove or add new pages, or modify the way a page or section of the site functions, please let us know as soon as possible. We will modify the project plan and timetable for your site, as well as adjust the quote and your initial invoice accordingly.
Website Design: Based on our meetings with you and the information you provide on the Design Questionnaire, we create design mockups, which includes a round of revisions. One round is generally sufficient, but we can provide up to three revision rounds.
Website Development and Internal Review: Once the design is approved, the website is developed. Our project manager will work closely with you to ensure all deliverables are received, and to keep you updated on the website’s progress. Before the website is shown to you, it will go through a thorough Mannix Marketing Quality Assurance (QA) process. Upon completion of this process, the site is forwarded for your review and approval.
E-Commerce Websites: Note that the client is responsible for providing correct sales tax and shipping rate data to Mannix Marketing for incorporation into your site, and for maintaining the data and ensuring accuracy prior to your website going live. Data may be provided by a third party upon request and approval by the client, and any issues with the data quality of the third party is not the responsibility of Mannix Marketing.
Client Review: Once Mannix Marketing has completed our internal QA process, the site is forwarded to you for your review and approval. This is your two-week period of time to request edits or corrections to the website’s content before the site goes live. Should you discover a need for additional pages or site functionality that wasn’t discovered during the proposal review, we can quote those modifications for you as a new project. This allows the launch of your new site to proceed as planned and the next iteration of your site to be scheduled into the next available space in our project queue.
E-Commerce Websites: We test and configure all ordering and notification processes multiple times during the website build and QA process to ensure the shopping cart is functioning as you intended. As part of this process, we will ask you or a member of your team to confirm, in writing, that notifications were received.
Client WordPress Training: This is where you get the opportunity to learn how to manage and modify the website yourself, using the content management system we’ve built for you! During the same two-week client review period, you will be scheduled for a user-friendly WordPress training session with one of Mannix Marketing’s experienced digital marketing strategists. This hands-on training program will provide you with all the tools you need to make content changes to your website quickly and easily. This can include updating pages, products, blog posts and images, depending upon the site plan outlined in the proposal.
Final Invoice: You will receive your final invoice two weeks from the date we delivered the website to you for your review. Note that in those rare instances when a client site review takes longer than two weeks, this final invoice will be due regardless of whether the website is live. Final payment is due prior to launch.
Post-Launch: What to Expect After Your Site Goes Live and/or Final Invoice is Delivered
Your 90-Day Guarantee: Your satisfaction is of utmost priority and during the 90 day period following your final invoice, we will continue to work diligently with you to correct any technical issues that might arise as a result of the code — i.e. programming — that was utilized to build and customize your website. We will also support you as you utilize your WordPress training to make those first content modifications and site updates yourself. Should additional pages, site edits or site functionality needs arise that weren’t discovered during the proposal or client review phases, we can quote those additional items for you as a separate project and schedule it in to our project queue for the next available slot.
Email Support: If you are using our email servers, this is also the time to ensure all users have been added, all your general email questions have been answered and all email accounts have been tested.
E-Commerce Websites: We will test and configure all ordering and notification processes multiple times during the go-live process. As part of this process, we will ask you or a member of your team to confirm in a timely manner, in writing, that notifications were received. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure ongoing receipt and tracking of website leads and orders, in addition to verifying that the order gets processed through the payment gateway and bank. If at any time you think something is wrong, please immediately notify your bank/merchant representative or the SWAT team at [email protected].
Website Hosting: Hosting services include assistance with the setup of email accounts hosted/maintained by us on POP/IMAP programs (e.g. Outlook, Mac’s Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.). We will also assist with the setup of mail on devices running current versions of the iOS and Android operating systems. An exception to this is the setup of mail on Blackberry devices. Please see our Support and Maintenance Policy for more information.
Contact Forms: Mannix Marketing will test and configure all contact forms, request a quote and other notification processes multiple times throughout the site build, site QA and when your site goes live. As part of this process, we will ask you or a member of your team to confirm in a timely manner, in writing, that any such notifications were received. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure ongoing receipt and tracking of leads generated from the forms on your site. If at any time you think something is wrong or have cause for concern, please notify Mannix Marketing’s SWAT team immediately at [email protected]
Post-90 Days: Ongoing Maintenance of Your Website
Our goal during the first ninety days after receipt of your final invoice is to ensure the site meets your 100% satisfaction and to support you while you learn to maintain and update the site yourself using the WordPress skills you’ve acquired through training and practice.
Once this ninety day guarantee period on your website has expired, Mannix Marketing is always available in a support capacity. In fact, many clients, due to time and resource constraints, prefer Mannix Marketing to make any ongoing content changes or edits to their site, and we are happy to do so, billable by the hour. Please review our Support and Maintenance policy to learn more about how we will process your edit requests via Mannix Marketing’s Help Center.
